The Challenge
For AAD 2026, L’Oréal needed to bring its newest mineral sunscreen technology to life in a way that felt both scientifically credible and visually premium.
The project came with significant production constraints:
•Compressed timeline and limited budget
•No existing video or product footage to work from
•Live-action production and custom 2D/3D animation were not viable within scope
The challenge was to create a high-impact, science-led film without relying on traditional production resources.
The Answer
We designed a production approach built around speed, flexibility and strong visual storytelling.
Through weekly creative reviews, we aligned closely with the client and moved quickly from scientific story to visual execution.
We sourced and curated premium stock footage to build the film, then used careful sequencing, editing, motion design and scientific storytelling to create a cohesive narrative around the technology.
We focused our resources on the elements that would have the greatest impact — storytelling, editing and execution.
The Job
The result was a premium, science-led launch film that brings Miner-ALL™ technology to life and reinforces L’Oréal’s leadership in sun protection innovation.
The film translates a complex formulation story into a clear, engaging and visually compelling narrative, while remaining grounded in the research behind the technology.
Created for its debut at AAD 2026, the final asset gave L’Oréal a credible and polished way to introduce the innovation to a dermatology-focused audience — without the cost or timelines of a traditional production.
