• Challenge:
o Improve Conversion Rate to Increase Sales by 400%. Monoprice wanted to grow to $0.5 billion in annual sales from $125 million yet their current conversion rates were declining, as shoppers demanded a better experience.
o Because internal staffing was lean at Monoprice, they lacked significant expertise to execute the due diligence and recommendations required to improve results.
• Approach:
o We decided to begin with an analytics “deep dive” and we identified shortcomings in the following areas:
 No content management or landing page CMS
 Poor site search experience
 Poor shopping cart and checkout experience
 Weak SEO results; underutilized SEM opportunity
o We then unleashed a multi-channel digital strategy and activations to increase revenue across all channels that included:
 SEM
 SEO
 Comparison Shopping Engine Optimization
 Marketing Automation Engine (Next Best Products / Cateogries, Upsell, Cross Sell, Promotion
 Email marketing
 Website enhancements and landing page A/B testing
 Etc.
• Results:
• We identified revenue growth opportunities valued between $65 and $90 million through the next year by:
• Fast-tracking UX improvement
• Optimizing product landing pages
 Developed a new landing page custom tool capable of creating new product and categories pages to support any marketing needs
• Optimizing SEO / SEM and identifying new SEO and SEM opportunities
 For SEM only, revenue increase: $225,000 per year with a ROAS of 5.4x. Helpful insights into audience performance to modify website and landing page UX to increase campaign efficiency
