• Greater Palm Springs serves 9 major desert communities via their website in order to drive qualified traffic to book hotels, restaurants, and activities directly through their partner businesses.
• Challenge
o Greater Palm Springs was mostly using their email program to manage relationships with partners and media. They had a robust consumer list, with over 40,000 subscribers, but were only sending monthly newsletters to the entire consumer list manually. This manual process with little follow up caused their newsletter engagement to remain poor (week open rate and inexistent CTR).
• Approach
o After a detailed discovery phase, we created a strong execution phase to increase metrics month over month and collected data to create emails that match with specific user interests (travel, food, entertainment, family, wedding, etc.) and where they live (Palm spring surroundings vs. region vs. California vs. USA vs. international) in order to create.
